RLR Laundry Treatment 1.35oz packet
Let's face it, washing cloth diapers can be a dirty job and it is a bit of a science. Sometimes those diapers need a boost and altough RLR is not the "official" method of stripping your leaking, stinky cloth diapers, it is THE way to do it!
The Once A Month Treatment For All Washable Fabric...Whites & Colors
RLR is NOT a soap or bleach. It is a Special Treatment to remove dulling dried-in particles from fabric...leaving whites whiter and colors brighter. During regular detergent washing, mineral deposits in the water; dirt and soil sediment; and residual matter from deterfents all accumulate in the fab ric causing it to look dingy. RLR works by removing these particles from the clothing, holding them insuspension in the water and preventing redposition so thy rinse away leaving fabric looking like new.
When to use RLR?
Whenever your things begin to look dingy. RLR is safe to use as often as you wish ...fabrics actually last longer with regular use. For cloth diapers, ammonia buildup, not so white fabrics and stinkies are a good indicator.
Open package and empty directly on dry or wet laundry in washing machine (or in your detergent dispensor). Wash as susual with detergent, softener (not when washing diapers!), etc. as desired. RLR can also be used for handwashing of one or two small pieces of clothing-just use a small amoun t in a basin of water.
***You will likely notice a foam in your wash. When laundring your diapers, keep rinsing on HOT until the foam is gone***
